Habitat
Amazon River dolphins live in various areas in South America, including the Amazon River, lakes, and the Orinoco River in Venezuela. The river flows at about 1.5 mph, carrying lots of dirt and soil that makes the water murky. The depth of the Amazon River is more than 200 ft. deep, well below sea level. The air around the river is about 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The Amazon River dolphin is well adapted to his habitat.
